Who I Work With

You may have always been the dependable one, the caretaker, the fixer, the mature one, the one others leaned on. Maybe you learned to tune into everyone else’s needs while pushing down your own.

Now, you’re beginning to wonder: What about me?

I work with adults who are ready to explore the patterns that no longer serve them, even if they once kept them safe. You might be:

  • Someone who grew up too soon, taking on adult responsibilities as a child (also known as parentification)

  • The “strong one” who feels pressure to keep it all together, even when you're struggling inside

  • A people-pleaser or perfectionist, unsure how to set boundaries without paralysing fear and guilt

  • Feeling the weight of complex or developmental trauma, even if you find it hard to name

  • Exhausted by relationship dynamics that feel one-sided, enmeshed, or emotionally draining

  • Quietly battling anxiety, low mood, burnout, or chronic self-doubt

  • Wondering who you are beneath all the roles you’ve learned to play

Whether your pain is rooted in early family dynamics, cultural expectations, or more recent life experiences, you make sense and you are welcome here. I hold space for the full range of your story: the grief, the stuckness, the questions, the longing.

If you're ready to learn how to prioritise yourself, I'd be honoured to walk alongside you.

Hi! I'm Rachel

BA. MNCPS (Accred)

A Companion for Your Healing Journey

From a young age, I felt a deep connection to the emotional worlds of others. I could sense the unspoken: the tension, the grief, the quiet pain beneath the surface. I saw how unhealed wounds didn’t just live within individuals, but rippled through families and relationships in subtle, lasting ways.

My own first experience of therapy came when I was sixteen, following a traumatic loss. Having a safe, compassionate space where I could begin to make sense of what I was feeling was life-changing. That experience lit a spark in me - a sense of purpose, and a deep belief that healing is possible.

It’s what led me to become a therapist myself. To offer others the same kind of presence and space that helped me begin to heal. That journey has only deepened my commitment to emotional growth, both my own and that of the people I work with.

I believe that we all carry an innate longing to heal, even when the path ahead feels foggy or a belief in positive future is hard to access. Each person's story is a testament to their resilience. For nearly a decade, I've had the honour of walking alongside people from all walks of life as they navigate their emotional landscapes with courage, tenderness, and truth.

Healing isn’t linear. It’s a winding, sometimes uncomfortable, often beautiful journey, one that leads us back to ourselves. If you’re ready to take that step, I’d be honoured to walk with you.

My Approach

Your pace sets the rhythm - I’m here to walk beside you

My therapeutic approach is humanistic, relational, embodied, trauma-informed and culturally sensitive.  I put our relationship and your emotional safety at the centre of my care.

Many of our woundings occur in relationships. Therefore, relational healing and repair happens in connection - not in isolation.  I won't be a blank, neutral slate nodding silently at you. I'm a companion on your journey, I bring my full, engaged human self into the room: warm, curious, gently challenging, and deeply present. In our work together, you’ll have agency and choice. We’ll go at your pace, guided by what feels safe and meaningful for you.

We live in a world that places constant pressure on us: to perform, to please, to hold it all together. With me, you'll be offered a space to be with your experience, just as it is, and exploring what healing and growth might look like for you.

Therapy can make space for your truth to emerge without judgement. You deserve that space and time

Together, we'll explore the formative chapters of your story and
explore the layers of your experience, cultural, familial, and systemic, that shaped who you are today and begin writing new ones filled with self-compassion, empowerment, and meaningful growth.

Qualifications & Professional Development

Ongoing Commitment

Since qualifying, I've worked with children and adults in various settings, including schools, mental health charities, and drug and alcohol recovery centers. This diverse experience enriches my private practice, where I continue to support clients in improving their emotional and mental well-being. I tailor my sessions to the individual, drawing from extensive training I've completed over the years.

I am particularly passionate about developmental trauma and how the lack of attunement and awareness from our caregivers during our formative early years impacts our style of relating as adults.

My commitment to growth extends to my own professional development. I regularly engage in clinical supervision, continued professional development, and reflective practice to ensure my work remains ethical, informed, and responsive to the evolving needs of my clients.

Behind all the trainings and titles is my deep commitment to showing up fully, with presence, compassion, and respect.
